Hey human! Welcome to the first world quarantine time in our life time! Hope you all stay safe!
Okay if you ran out of some new western tv series like me, this time I'll tell you Japanese best tv series (dorama) in 2019!
Actually, it's been a long time I'd watch some dorama and it's quite difficult to find a new one and also a good one. After checki
ng almost every latest dorama in Mydramalist, finally I found some good stuff that I could finish it till the last episode.

3. Watashi, Teiji de Kaerimasu  (No working after hours)

I'm not gonna lie, I want to watch this series because my life motto is same as the MC, work efficiently during the work time thne leave work on time. Yeah I and MC have something common which is hate to work overtime :D.. I mean I don't want my whole life is only about work. Okay, it's alright if I was lucky enough to have my dream job as my current job, but if it's not I'm sorry I can only do it according to my obligation. But of course the MC is a better person and officer than me in many ways. She is really a reliable officer. although she doesn't want to work overtime and always be the one who first leave the office, leaving all of her colleagues behind, she always be the one who help her colleagues everythime they were in need. The story is mostly about life-works and colleagues, but it has a slight romance taste in it, which I prefer btw. The story starts when the MC's department get a new manager and vice manager and it's turned out the new vice manager is her ex fiancee, but in the mean time she currently date someone from her rival's company. At first, I'm afraid if eventually she really cheated on her current boyfriend because her ex probably still like her. But don't worry the drama is not cheesy and dramatic in such romance sense. It's more about her work life. The MC is really lovable and professional after all.

2. 3 Nen A Gumi: Ima kara Mina-san wa, Hitojichi Desu

It's the most japanese drama I've ever watch after a long time -okay just watch it, you probably know what I meant lol.  It's about a homeroom teacher who turned all of his class student as hostages. Months before he transferred to be a teacher in that school, a female student had a suicide. She was a genius athlete who had been winning competitions. The teacher keeps them in the class and has them to investigate what's actually happen behind her suicide.
If you want to watch a meaningful story with many moral lessons, just watch this! The homeroom teacher is played by Masaki Suda,  you probably have seen him before. Because he is literally almost everwhere lol. He is not that good looking in my eyes but he is really a good actor (probably the best actor in this new generation )

1. Hajimete Koi wo Shita Hi ni Yomu Hanashi

Maybe most of people expect 3 Nen A Gumi should be at the first place than this drama. But wait a minute. It's my favorite list, so obviously it's really subjective lol. Actually there's one thing that make me love Japanese drama, that one thing that I hardly find in many western series, something to related. It was the most story I could related (except the part where three hot guys fall for her lmao). The MC is a grown up woman at her early thirty. When she was young, she spent almost her time to study, so she hardly made friends, played or went outside, let alone dated any guy. But no matter how hard she studied in her high school, she couldnt passed her Todai entrance exam,, crashing her world into pieces. Now, she works as a teacher in private instution where she has to tutor a pink hair rebellious high school boy who apparently want to apply at Todai!
Because of this drama, I really like Ryuusei (the one who play Yuri yuri). He looks so cool, especially when he pulled away his bang like in that photo, oh my :3. Btw if you like him too, he has a new drama this season, it's called Shiro demo Kuro demonai Sekai de, Panda wa Warau.

Oh and here is some songs for you

if you also like the soundtrack from Hajimete Koi drama, please give it try to listen this cover. it's really lit!

and a special song in your quarantine time

Holla
To open and close this year ( I just realized it's my first and last post in 2019 lol), I want to talk about one of my childhood hobbies which is watching Japanese Shojo Live Action Movie. But in this post I just want to talk about movies from this decade.
I like watching romance but if it's comedy not a sad, tearful or tragedy movie where one of the main character is dying, so don't expect me to mention one of them.
let me warn you again, my taste is not like most people's.

4 star

1. Highschool Debut

I didn't really like the manga artwork so I only read the first chapter lol. but I really loved the movie (even I'd watch it for twice, it was really a scarce thing to me for watching a same movie more than once lol). I knda forget the storyline but it's about a highschool girl who want to fall in love, in middle school she was an athlete and far from a girly so she wants to change herself and make a debut in highschool. because she didn't know how, she asked her cute friend to teach her, but it turns out that friend has a popular and cool big brother. so after a long way begging him, the lesson's begin.
overall the movie is enjoyable, not too mach drama, and really funny. Love the main characters too.

2. Teen Bride

I'd tried to read the manga before, but didn't like it so I didn't know the difference between manga and its movie. but like Highschool debut I like the movie more. maybe because the story looks lighter and funnier.
It's about a rich girl who got involved into arranged marriage with the guy she love at the first sight with. The girl is very spoiled who didn't know anything all(she even didn't know the way to her school- she always have a butler and maid so xD) but what I loved about her, she is really funny and honest. And the main guy, yeah you know, the handsome, cool, smart, and ignorant guy who apparently broke because his dad's debt, so obviously he didn't reject the marriage's offer.
Yeah, the story is not great, it's ridiculous actually. but I really enjoyed it, it's so funny, I almost laught in entire movie (even though the story kinda cringe)  and I really loved this kind of romance story. where the girl and the guy changed each other to become a better person. (I mean who didn't want that? :)) )
anyway, I just realized that the main guy was actually the guy who played kurosaki-kun lol

3.5 star

1. My Teacher

I'd never read the manga before, I think it's an old one. the story was cliche, about a high school girl student who falling in love with his teacher. it's similar with Yamashita's movie Close Range Love, but Idk, I actually prefer this one. Ikuta toma looked so cool in here lol. It's not a comedy but I really enjoyed it.

2. One Week Friend

same like My Teacher, I didn't even know the manga. The story was particular and heartwarming about a high school boy who falling in love with his classmate. Apparently the girl suffers from memory loss ilnesss that cause her to can remember people for only one week, after next monday she can't even remember his/her name. btw yamaken is so weird here, wtf with his hair lol

3. Clover

the story is so cute and ofc enjoyable. it's your typical josei story where the main girl is so clumsy and childish and the main guy is her cool but strict boss.

3 star

mostly from the manga I love but couldn't feel anything when watching the movie

1. The Kodai Family

I love the manga and it's still on-going so I really want to know the ending. the cast is great and the movie is adorable, but wtf with that scene before the ending. spoiler alert:
why she had to left him alone in the altair wtfff

2. LDK (2014)
I didn't like the manga, it's too weird and gladly the movie didn't really follow the manga's story line. I think it's quiet enjoyable and the casts are lovable but to me it's that kind of movie that I forgot that I had already watch it.

3. Haru Matsu Bokura
It was one of my fave manga, but the movie didn't satisfy me. it kinda boring tho i didn't like the main girl  she is too stiff and expresionless i think. the only thing I like about this movie is kitamura takumi lol

4. My Little Monster
5. Orange
6. Daytime Shooting Star
7. Ao Haru Ride
8. Peach Girl
9. Today's Kira Kun

Therefore from this post I can conclude that the manga I don't like mostly became live action movie I really love lol (it happened too with Nodame Cantebile, the best japanese romance drama most of the time according to me haha)

Okay in this post I want to write about some song covers that I REALLY loved! Okay, there are plenty good covers that I like, but in this post I only listed a few covers that its not just good but memorable where these covers always remained in my mind especially when I wrote this post. I have always think  whats the point of covering a song if you sang it a same way like the original one? Sang it with different arrangement and genre couldn’t be more great don’t you think? Because rock have always been my favorite genre of music, so mostly these songs that I will mention are originally non-rock songs that sang by rock musician. So check it out!
1.       Disturbed – The Sound Of Silence

The sound of silence, originally a nice classical song by. At first when I heard this song, it never crossed my mind that it’s not an original Disturbed song. This song kinda remind me like their other song, The Light, but with more emotional kind of way. I really love this song, it made me overwhelmed with emotional and sad sensation that could seize your heart. Hearing this song always put me to a pleasant journey that I couldn’t define, like every anxiety just lifted up from my chest. The guitar playing, piano playing and its steps from the intro and bridge is like something you cant forget. To found out it actually a cover really surprised me.

2.       Our Last Night – Humble

Humble, originally a grammy winning song for rap song category that sang by Kendrik Lamar. Last year was a great year to listen rap song, there are many best rap song like Congratulation, 1-800xxx(sorry forgot the rest title), and of course, humble. In the other hand, our last night is quite an infamous youtuber cover musician, and thanks to them I could listen to some best trending song especially rap. Actually, I didn’t like an original Humble, but I don’t hate it either. I don’t know maybe it’s too flat for me. But listening the OLN version, really made me addicted to this song. The scream, guitar, “Aye” part already become drugs to me.

3.       Crown of The Empire – Payphone

Okay the first time I really love a cover song is this song. This cover actually one of Pop Goes Punk cover. The original one is really good, actually it’s my most favorite song by Maroon 5. There are really plenty covers for this songs back then, but I don’t like them, they only made this song more boring. But when listening this cover, I didn’t know that Payphone can be this different and yet so amazing. The scream and the rhythm guitar are incredibly fcking good.

So what do you think? Do you have same taste in music like me?

Ciao!
It’s been a long time!
Because I love watching series, and right now you can’t talk about good series without mentioning Netflix. In this post I want to list all of original Netflix series I’ve ever watched completely till their final episode and sort them by my own ranking! Here we go!

12.  3%

Genre: dystopia, young adult, drama
Origin: Brazil
It’s the first time I’ve watched Brazilian’s series and because this series I just found out that they speak Portuguese and not Spanish :D
If you enjoy reading dystopian novel or watching dystopian movie like The Giver, Hunger Games, then you may like this series. But The story is kinda different than any other dystopian series and not that dark, because this story is more about survival in “exam” and it’s not that cold blood hearted with many blood or killing and dying person (except for the final part). Although there are many things that still unexplained about this story’s world, I think this story is still okay for me with rating 7/10. But the characters? I still can bear with them so 6/10.

11. American Vandal
Genre: young adult (high school life), mystery, drama, comedy
Kinda similar to 13 reasons why, but it’s more short and simpler version. Actually it’s like one of that documentary film style thing. The main character is a student in school organization like newspaper club (if I’m not wrong), he and his friend want to documentary the investigation of the biggest vandalism’s culprit in their school. A mysterious story with some cliché high school drama, but with some nice plot, so overall it’s good. My rating, 7/10.

10. The OA
Genre: mystery, supernatural
I watched it long ago, so I kinda forget about the detail but the story is about a girl who have been kidnapped with some other person by a sociopath (?) guy. I forgot how she could escaped from the kidnapper, but she will explain her kidnapped story to some her neighbors. And later she knows why she escaped.
Actually, this series is weird, the most weird Netflix series I’ve ever watched, maybe because there is some supernatural thing in this story that I couldn’t understand what it’s all about. But overall, I like this story. My rating: 7.5/10

9. 13 Reasons Why
Genre: young adult (high school life), mystery, drama
Okay, do I still have to explain this series? :D
It’s story about a dead Hanna Baker. A high school girl who take her own life for some reasons. 13 reasons exactly. 13 reasons that she explained it herself in those tapes, the tapes that had been delivered for every person that linked to her suicide.
I’m so glad it’s just a fiction so I can comment my annoyed feeling for this main girl character. From the deepest of my heart, Hanna is a little bit too sensational wannabe. Okay I’m sorry for her, especially when those problems that still coming for her without any break, but at some reasons, this girl is the one who messed up her own life. I mean how can she date with some football players, and still can date or make any contact with another one without thinking that those guys are same? So, if you like a mysterious story and can bear yourself with some cliché suicidal high school story. Here you go. My rating : 8/10

8. Dark

Genre: mystery, thriller, science fiction
My first time watching a Germany series.
I don’t know what to explain about this story, but if you like Stranger Things, I think you gonna like this too. If Stranger Things is about underworld, then it’s about time travel. But this story is more twisted, and the characters are more darker than Stranger Things. Actually, the plot is really good, it’s really thrilling but I hate the characters. None of them is likeable. Especially for the main character’s Mother, how can she be so depressed about one guy for many years. So my rating : 8/10

7. Ozark

Genre: crime, mystery, thriller, drama
To save his life and his own family, a financial advisor had to move with his family from Chicago to the lake region of the Missouri Ozarks. He had a deal with the second largest drug cartel in Mexico to do money laundry in Ozark. If you tired of sci-fi story, then crime story is not too bad to try. But this story is different like many crime story, there is no action, it’s purely about how cartel can make their money clean. Overall I like it, it brings some new adventure and another knowledge to me :D My rating: 8/10

6. The End of Fucking World

Genre: young adult (high school life), comedy, drama
I’m just that kind of people who only wanted to watch mystery, science fiction or thrill type story. So, when I see this series ’s summary, I don’t want to watch it. But curiosity beats me, so here we go. This is the first British Netflix series I’ve ever watched (yes, I haven’t watched The Crown yet). The story is simple, about a young out cast boy and a rebellious young girl who want to runaway from their home. But for some reasons they made a mistake, a huge mistake that make police searching for them.
I really love this, it’s so adorable and yet so sad. If you love novel like Looking for Alaska, Will Grayson, and perks of being wallflower. I think It’s perfect for you! It’s 8/10 from me.
Btw I still didn’t believe the final scene. wth

5. Altered Carbon

Genre: action, science fiction, mystery
Set in the future where humans can be immortal as long as their consciousness that stored in “stack” hasn’t been damaged. If their own body no longer been able to use, they can use another body called “sleeve” with moving their “stack” from the old body to the new one. After being hibernated after 250 years in prison, Takeshi Kovach, the latest former elite warrior a.k.a Envoch, being woken up to another “sleeve” by a wealthiest man in the world to find out who murdered him.
Overall In my opinion, this story is good, I enjoyed it. Also the main character is good looking anyway, even though it’s not his real face hahaha. So if you like watch movie that take a place in kind-of-creepy-dark future world with some action, then I recommend it for you. My raring: 8.3/10

4. Travelers
Genre: drama, mystery, science fiction
To prevents disastrous future of humanity, human in the future finally discover how to send consciousness back through time. They send their consciousness to 21th century at the peoples who just about to died. These persons called “Travelers”, they worked as a team and together they must complete the mission to save the future.
Thankfully because of writing this review I remember I’ve watch the season 1 of this series, and just discover there’s a season 2 and haven’t watch it yet :D . But overall the season 1 is good and the story is cool too. So if you like watch some science fiction movie with a good plot, here you go. My rating: 8.3/10. (may gonna edit it after I’ve watch the season 2)

3. Money Heist

Genre: crime, action, drama
It’s one of the most unique robber crime story I’ve ever watch. There is Professor, a mastermind of this whole robbery idea, he recruited some famous criminal to his group. They spend a lot time to learn and prepare for their robbery, but it’s not really a robbery actually. They robed a museum with some students, visitors and employees, but they not stealing any money, instead they created it with money-making machine in that building. Actually it’s good idea :D but the problem is to make their perfect escape plan they need some days. And no matter how prepared are you, anything can goes wrong.
At the first time I watched this, shit I think it’s gonna be masterpiece. But when first episode ended, I just made a What-the-hell face. I know people is not perfect and they absolutely can do something wrong, but I think the characters in this story are too careless and not too professional. They did their own job well, but because of some shitty drama like love or bla bla, they mostly messed everything up. Even though they are criminals, actually they are good peoples, they only want to make money then runaway without any bloody corpses, and they treat their hostage well. So, overall, they are likeable characters. The plot is interesting too. If you love some crime robbery story and can bear with some drama (that sometimes can be a little bit too annoying), here you go, Money Heist. 8,3/10.

2. Stranger Things
Genre: science fiction, mystery, drama
Okay, do I still have to explain this series? :D
First, when I watched the Season 1 of Stranger Things and afterward found that this series is so fcking popular, I think it’s overrated. Don’t get me wrong, I like this series, it’s my taste. The mystery and thrill sensation are good, especially when they added some science fiction explanation. But I didn’t like the characters nor hate the them neither, okay these little boys and Eleven are cute, but just yeah okay to me. And the teens? So fcking cliché. But when the season 2 come, this story become more good and I can feel the character’s bond, it’s not as swallow as the first season, especially Steve, He is so cute :3 I really like him when he helps the boys fighting the Demogorgon. So, overall, it’s really enjoyable story like most people said, my rating is 8.5/10.
1.
1.Sense8

Genre: science fiction, mystery, drama
The story is unique, I never watch anything like this before. It’s about a group consisted of 8 peoples from different countries all over the world who happened born at the same time and with some other reasons they can visit another person’s body and mind in that group.I think It’s the most beautiful Netflix series that I’ve ever watched, not just because the story, the thrilled feeling sensation (how they had to be more clever than the antagonist or even how to deal with their own problem) but also the characters ‘s bond. One thing I felt lack about most Netflix series is their character, but this one? They are not annoying, they are not perfect, but they show us about friendship and their beautiful bond. No matter how different they are, what country they are from, what life they did for living, every main character is just perfect on their own. And yeah I really love the Germany guy, his expression is funny :D
So, If you like series with mystery and thrill sensation, with some drama that not too annoying (actually the drama is good, it showed us many different feeling like how hard life it is for LGBT’s people, how hard the situation is in Nairobi (Africa) and many more) then this series is perfect for you. my rating is 9/10.
My fave quote from this series:
“nothing venal, vile, or vainglorious. Rather a vital vertex of virtue, valor, and virtuosity in the name of veracity”

Congratulations! Because you read the whole list then I want to give you a reward, a perfect song when you just ended a series

Oh hi guyss
Right now I'm really addicted to a new rock band called "Highly Suspect"
Okay, they are not really new, maybe few of you already know them
the band started in 2009 and they already have 2 album so far, Mister Asylum (2015) and The Boy Who Died Wolf (2016). They got nomination "Best Rock Song" from Grammy Award for their song, "Lydia" and "My Name Is Human" (which they lose to my most favorite rock solo singer ever, David Bowie) and also nomination "Best Rock Album" for their first album (which they lose to my favorite lifetime band , Muse).

source: http://images.huffingtonpost.com
Highly Suspect only consists of 3 member (like Muse, Green Day), Johnny Stevens as guitarist and lead vocalist , Rich Meyer (Bass guitarist and backing vocalist) and Ryan Meyer (drummer and backing vocalist). According to some sites, their genres are hard rock, blues rock, and alternative rock.
Okay, why I really like them?
First, because Johnny Stevens is the hottest man alive. his voice is just so different , unique, emotional and fcking good. his guitar playing really made me melted (see their live video, if you dont trust me!). and his face? you can see it for yourself wkwk, and he can also play keyboard. he really the younger version of Matt Bellamy with different way:3
source: Highly Suspect - Bath Salts (Music Video)
Second, of course their songs are just so goddamn good
My favorite songs from them? oh too many, but maybe you can check Little One,  Lydia, Bath Salts, Serotonia , Chicago, and ofc My Name is Human (the lyric is so beautiful)
I actually wanted to give you the link download for the album but my connection kinda slow, so maybe next time I'll edit this post and add the link .
